Cereal Review: Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes

I know what your thinking, I've been burned by that leprechaun before. Remember Chocolate Lucky Charms and the infamous all marshmallow Lucky Charms?   General Mills has no problem throwing enough wacky cereal concoctions at the wall and seeing what sticks and this is just another splatter on the wall.

Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes is a delicate blend of sugar, corn and malt syrup, gelatin and circus peanuts.  With a whopping 13 grams of sugar per serving, this cereal shouldn't be eaten anywhere close to a person with diabetes.  Even the most robust of us  should expect a sugar hallucinatory experience where Lucky the Leprechaun haunts your wildest dreams.  Also with 227 mg of sodium one should hydrate heavily before eating.

General Mills describes the taste as magical and I for one have to agree. With a power combination of hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, blue moons, hourglasses, rainbows and red tasty balloons, these are all things you want any fun loving kid to eat.

The box art for Lucky Charms Frosted Flakes depicts our tiny green, insult to Ireland  friend  sliding down a rainbow with a gleam in his eye that says  impulse buy! I'm sure you will agree that we have past the point of no return of cereal manufactures even pretending to care about nutrition anymore. It wont be long before we have Lucky Charms: morphine infused marshmallows  with a free loaded handgun in every box.

Gamilon Magazine gives it one out of five magical stars ✪✫✫✫✫
